Our hearts are heavy as we process the devastating news of the tragic shooting at Florida State University. No words can truly capture the pain and fear that this act of violence has brought to the FSU community and beyond. To the students, faculty, staff, and families affected — please know that you are not alone. We are holding you in our thoughts and standing with you in grief, sorrow, and solidarity. In times like these, it's more important than ever to show love, support, and compassion to one another. Let’s continue to uplift those who are hurting and advocate for a future where no student has to fear for their safety on campus.

Let’s Try This Thing Out
This is my first post using Windows Live.
Anyone out there voting early? If so, I’ve got a question. If you vote early, can you somehow avoid seeing political ads on the TV every five seconds?

Baby, It's Cold Outside
It's in the 30s here. I'm in southwest Florida for Christ's sake. What's going on here?
Must be that Global Warming I've heard so much about.
It's a good day for a Psych and Burn Notice marathon on DVD. Oh, and the playoffs. Although it's hard to get too excited when the Steelers and Bucs aren't playing.
It's supposed to be even colder tomorrow morning . . . should be fun getting up for work at 4:30.

A Quick One
Hey, that's right. I have a blog.
Come on, make it 3 for 3 this week. The Steelers and my beloved Seminoles came through.

Just Checkin' In
Haven't written in forever, so thought I'd check in with my faithful readers.
Saturday night, drinking a "few" quality adult beverages, and watching the Transatlantic Live In America DVD.
If you've never heard of Transatlantic, you don't know what you're missing.
If you'd like to know more, write me.
Until then,

Liberal Media Strikes Again
Gerald Ford's body wasn't even cold yet, and the Liberal media couldn't wait to publish his interview allegedly bashing President Bush's decision to invade Iraq.
But if you read what he actually said, he only disagreed with the rationale used for the invasion, not the decision itself. Not that the Liberalidiots are going to emphasize that aspect.
And just for the sake of argument, let's say that President Ford had been 100% in favor of our invasion of Iraq. Does anyone think that would have been reported? Of course not. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the American public would have no idea the interview existed.
And if anyone believes otherwise, you're deluding yourself.
